Terms, Conditions, and Instructions for School Visits to King Salman Science Oasis
The accompanying teacher plays a key role in this educational visit, and therefore we kindly request adherence to the following:
First: Pre-Visit Procedures
- Preparing students: Discuss the objectives and stages of the visit with the students in advance, and prepare them mentally for the planned program and activities.
- Punctuality: Ensure early readiness for boarding the buses so as to arrive at the Oasis at the specified time.
- Duration of the visit: The visit lasts one (1) hour and begins at the time specified in the registration form.
- Number of students: Adhere to the number of students specified for each visit as stated in the registration form.
- Group division: Divide students into groups such that the number of students in each group does not exceed twenty-five (25) students.
- Number of accompanying teachers: Ensure that one accompanying teacher is provided for every ten (10) students.
- Educational preparation: It is recommended to prepare worksheets, questions, or activities related to the visit in order to enhance engagement and attention.
Second: Procedures During the Visit
In order to ensure student safety and the achievement of the educational objectives of the visit, please adhere to the following:
- Continuous supervision: The male or female teacher must supervise the students throughout the entire visit and must not leave them without supervision.
- Positive engagement: It is preferable that the teacher move among the students during the tour to provide support and encouragement and to stimulate interaction with the content of the visit.
- Compliance with the program: Adhere to the schedule and activities specified within the approved program for the school visit.
Third: General Terms and Conditions
To ensure the proper organization of school visits and the safety of all participants, please observe the following:
- Arrangements for students with disabilities: In the event there are students with disabilities, please coordinate in advance with the Visitor Services team to provide the necessary accommodations.
- Personal belongings: It is recommended to inform students not to bring school bags or large-sized materials during the visit.
- Booking confirmation: Submitting a visit request is considered an initial step and does not constitute acceptance of the request; an email confirming the booking will be sent after it has been reviewed and approved by the competent authority.
- Entry to the Oasis: Entry requires scanning the ticket upon arrival. Please ensure that the responsible teacher has the ticket available, whether printed or stored on a mobile phone.
- Cancellation or postponement of the visit: If you wish to cancel or postpone the visit, please inform us at least two (2) days before the scheduled visit date.
- Public decorum: Adhere to public etiquette in shared facilities, and refrain from wearing inappropriate clothing such as short or tight garments.
- Behavioral rules: Food and beverages may only be consumed in designated areas and are not allowed during the educational activity tour.
- Allergens: Reviewing these terms constitutes implicit acknowledgment that the school meals provided at the Oasis may contain one or more of the following ingredients: seafood, gluten, dairy products, eggs, nuts, sesame, mustard, or any other allergens. Therefore, students with food allergies must be advised to bring a suitable alternative that is compatible with their health condition.
- Photography: The Oasis reserves the right to take photographs or record the visit by video without the need to obtain prior consent from students or their parents/guardians, and their attendance at the visit is deemed implicit consent to this.
- Restrictions on photography: Photography inside the Oasis is permitted for educational, personal, and non-commercial purposes only, and in a manner that does not affect the flow of activities or student safety. It is prohibited to photograph employees or other visitors. The use of professional photography equipment such as additional lighting, tripods, or any equipment that may obstruct movement along the visit route is not allowed. The Oasis may stop or restrict photography at any time if it deems that such action is necessary to protect privacy, security, or the regularity of the programs.
- Compliance with instructions: All visitors are required to comply with the instructions issued by representatives of the Oasis. In case of non-compliance, the Oasis reserves the right to deny entry, terminate the visit, or request that the visitor leave the premises without any obligation to provide an alternative.
- Amendment of terms and conditions: The Oasis reserves the right to amend the terms, conditions, and guidelines governing the visit at any time without prior notice.
- Governing law: These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
